A me del Natale non me ne pò fregà de meno? Fare un super festone il giorno di Santo Stefano è un ottimo modo per superare tutto questo. Se poi il festone è organizzato per promuovere il libro Nevermind – storie e canzoni degli anni 90, buttarla sul revival degli unici anni che ci sono appartenuti davvero è tutt’uno. Ne è venuta fuori una notte indimenticabile, tutta dedicata al decennio delle nostre prime volte. Non so se ci fosse la Fanta al bar, ma il resto è stato tutto veramente anni ‘90, anche le pomiciate.

Si è cominciato con un sound check per una piccola schiera di eletti, che solo con quello avevamo fatto serata. Provava la OneNiteBand che di lì a poco avrebbe spaccato il culo. Emanuele Mancini voce, Daniele Fiaschi chitarra, Pietro Casadei basso, Andrea Palmeri batteria. La formazione era particolarmente in forma già dal tardo pomeriggio e la morale del sound check è stata: riesci a menà de meno sulla batteria? che se continuate così manco ce fanno aprì stasera…

Poi l’aperitivo e l’arrivo delle prime persone. Oh bella, auguri eh, tutto a posto? La birra, il vino, i crostini.

Roba forte. A rischio di essere blasfemi, questi signori sono riusciti nella difficile impresa di non far rimpiangere gli originali. Hanno fatto musica e se mi passate di nuovo questa espressione, hanno veramente spaccato il culo. Abbiamo urlato, cantato, pogato. Come solo quando ci scambiavamo ancora le cassette.

A seguire l’immancabile dj set dance-pop, rigorosamente tutto dedicato all’ultimo decennio del vecchio millennio. L’adolescenza quindici anni dopo. Roba da far venire un brividino pure a Chuck Norris.

Insomma una festa coi controcazzi, anzi come avremmo detto allora, una festa da paiura cioè troppo sghicia, oh.

E ricordate: saremo stati anche più magri, ma c’avevamo i brufoli.
